Pille Roosi (Tallinn) is the one thanks to whom we made our first steps in Bharatnatyam. She’d been studying in Estonia under the guidance of a local teacher Irina, who, in her turn, studied Bharatnatyam in Moscow. Pille Roosi also visited India and studied there for some time, too (teacher – Chitra Vishweshvaran). In Tallinn she has a group – dance studio Amrita, where she also teches Spanish and Arabic dances. She comes to Riga once in 1-2 months for a weekend to give classes here, combining various dance activities with upbringing 3 children.
